Family members who live far away from senior care communities are often unaware of their loved ones' activities and well-being. How are they being cared for? Who is taking care of them? Are they taking their medication on time? These questions highlight the need for clear communication and transparency.

I conducted research and surveys and the bottom line is — families want to stay informed about their loved ones in senior care.

Based on the surveys of families with a loved one in a senior care community, 54% reported that they only hear about emergency situations. 65% of families reported that they want regular updates about their loved one’s day-to-day life, and 70% of the families reported they preferred communicating via smartphone.

One challenge I faced was designing an app that maintained the same experience on both Android and iOS platforms. I adhered to the unique navigation patterns for each platform while maintaining consistent branding and content hierarchy. I utilized Google's Material Design for Android and followed Human Interface Guidelines for iOS.
